Since time immemorial Birds of Prey have both excited and inspired mankind, they are a fascination to many people having captured their hearts and imaginations.
The art of falconry is an ancient sport having been practiced by many generations from a bygone age long since past.
You too can now share the excitement and inspiration and become a Falconer for a period of your choosing with a half day or full day of activities, seeing, handling and flying Hawks and Owls.

Falconry techniques have been refined over centuries and passed down from many falconers. Your course will give you the opportunity to share in this knowledge and to interact with these magnificent birds of prey up close, before learning how to handle and fly them free. Our birds are not trained to do tricks they fly as nature intended and are encouraged do what comes naturally to them.
Your course allows you to not only share in the knowledge and skills of Falconry, but offers you the excitement of a real hands on opportunity throughout your experience. Learn to fly Hawks and Owls and visit Falcons and Eagles at a local falconry center.
Your experience will begin with a general outline of the sports history, the laws relating to Birds Of Prey and meeting the different types of Raptors. You will learn the fitting and use of falconry equipment, practice the early stages of training to flying birds free. This course is suitable for those considering Falconry or for those simply wanting contact with Hawks and Owls
As well as having a fun and entertaining time you will be made aware of the practical implications of owning a bird of prey. Schedule and weather permitting you will also be able to see Falcons, Eagles, Hawks and Owls being flown.
